Wirevale Games Privacy Policy
Effective date: 12 September 2026
Controller: Wirevale Games (trading as Wirevale), United Kingdom
Contact: support@wirevale.co.uk
This page explains how Wirevale Games handles information for our Android and Windows titles. It is written for a UK audience and reflects how the games work today — mostly local/on-device data, with store platforms processing their own data under their policies. Product-named per-game policies are also available for store listings that prefer a title-specific URL.
Covered titles (Android and Windows where published): Wirevale Target Archery, Wirevale Chess Pro, Wirevale Word Pro, and Wirevale Sudoku Pro (and related Wirevale Games builds of those products).
1. Who we are
Wirevale Games publishes casual and skill games under the Wirevale brand. For privacy purposes, Wirevale Games is the data controller for personal data we process ourselves.
We do not claim a Companies House number on this page. If Wirevale Games later operates through a registered limited company, we will update this policy with the correct legal entity details.

2. What this policy covers
This policy covers our games on Google Play (Android) and the Microsoft Store / Windows desktop builds we distribute, and this privacy page on wirevale.co.uk.
It does not control how Google, Microsoft, or your device manufacturer process data under their own policies when you use their stores, operating systems, or account services.
3. What data we collect (and what we do not)
3.1 Data that stays on your device
Our games are designed to keep most gameplay data local on your device. Depending on the title and platform, that may include scores, progress, unlocked content, settings and preferences, and other game state needed to continue a session.
We do not operate our own online account system inside these games today, and we do not ask you to create a Wirevale Games login to play.
3.2 Data we do not collect ourselves
At the effective date of this policy, Wirevale Games does not:
- Sell personal data
- Run our own advertising network inside these games
- Embed third-party analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising SDKs in these game builds for our own measurement
If that changes in a future version, we will update this policy before (or when) those features ship.
3.3 Internet permission
Some Android builds may declare an internet permission because of the packaging stack (for example Capacitor/WebView) or OS requirements. That does not mean the game is sending your scores or settings to Wirevale Games servers. Today we do not run a Wirevale backend that receives gameplay telemetry from these titles.
3.4 Store platforms and operating systems
When you download or buy a game through Google Play or Microsoft, those companies (and, where relevant, your device OS) may process purchase and licence records, device/app identifiers for delivery and updates, crash or diagnostics information if you share it with the store or OS, and account information tied to your Google or Microsoft account.
That processing is governed by Google’s and Microsoft’s privacy policies and your account settings. We do not control those systems.
3.5 Website visits
If you visit wirevale.co.uk, your browser will typically send standard technical data to the web host (for example IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps) so the site can be delivered and kept secure. We do not use that for advertising profiles. Hosting providers may keep server logs for security and operations under their own terms.
4. Why we process information (lawful bases)
Where UK GDPR / the UK Data Protection Act 2018 applies to processing we carry out:
| Purpose | Typical basis |
|---|---|
| Providing the game and remembering local settings/progress on your device | Contract / legitimate interests in making the product work |
| Responding to emails you send us (support or privacy requests) | Legitimate interests / steps prior to a contract; consent where you choose to contact us |
| Meeting legal obligations (for example consumer or tax rules if they apply to a purchase we handle directly) | Legal obligation |
| Improving security of our website and preventing abuse | Legitimate interests |
We do not need to collect gameplay data on our servers for the current offline-style design of these titles.
5. Children
Our games are general-audience skill / puzzle / sports-style entertainment. They are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children for Wirevale Games accounts (we do not offer such accounts today).
Parents or guardians who believe a child has sent us personal information by email can contact support@wirevale.co.uk and we will delete that correspondence where appropriate.
Age ratings shown in stores are set through the store questionnaires and may differ by territory. Always follow the rating shown on the store listing.
6. Sharing
We do not sell personal data.
We may share information only when needed, for example with service providers who host our website or email; with Google or Microsoft as part of distributing apps through their stores; or with professional advisers or authorities where required by law.
We do not share local on-device game saves with third parties through our own code paths today.
7. International transfers
Our primary audience and controller contact are in the United Kingdom. Website hosting or email providers may process limited technical or correspondence data in the UK, EEA, or other countries. Where UK GDPR requires safeguards for restricted transfers, we rely on appropriate mechanisms used by those providers or on transfers that are otherwise permitted.
Store platforms may process data globally under their own terms when you use Google or Microsoft services.
8. Retention
- On-device game data: kept until you clear app data, uninstall the app, or otherwise delete local storage on your device.
- Emails you send us: kept only as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for support continuity and legal records, then deleted or archived with restricted access.
- Website server logs: retained according to the host’s operational practice (typically a limited period for security and diagnostics).
9. Your rights (UK)
Under UK data protection law, you may have rights including to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to certain processing, data portability where applicable, and to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
Because most game data never leaves your device, many gameplay records are under your control via your device settings rather than a Wirevale account dashboard.
To exercise rights in respect of data we hold (for example email correspondence), contact support@wirevale.co.uk. We may need to verify the request is genuine.
10. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps appropriate to a small UK publisher — for example limiting access to business email and store consoles, and not embedding unnecessary third-party trackers in the current game builds. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our games, hosting, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will be revised. Material changes will be reflected on this page (or the privacy URL stated in our store listings).
