Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) sets rules for using Wirevale websites, accounts, domains, hosting, email, and related services promoted on https://www.wirevale.co.uk and supplied via Wirevale or our partners (including the storefront at https://www.wirevale.com).

Breaches may result in suspension or termination without refund where permitted, and may be reported to partners or authorities.

2. Who this applies to

This AUP applies to customers, account users, website visitors who submit content, and anyone using Wirevale Online products, Wirevale Services deliverables hosted on our or partner infrastructure, or related systems.

3. Prohibited activities

You must not use Wirevale services to:

  1. Break applicable law (UK or other relevant jurisdictions).
  2. Infringe intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
  3. Distribute malware, ransomware, phishing, or other harmful code.
  4. Send spam or unsolicited bulk email in breach of PECR / anti-spam laws.
  5. Host or link to illegal content, including child sexual abuse material, terrorist content, or content that incites violence.
  6. Run open proxies, unauthorized scanners, or denial-of-service attacks.
  7. Mine cryptocurrency on shared hosting without written permission.
  8. Impersonate others or forge headers / WHOIS data.
  9. Interfere with other customers’ services or shared infrastructure.
  10. Bypass security, usage limits, or fair-use policies.
  11. Use services for high-risk regulated activity without required licences and our prior written approval.

4. Content responsibility

You are solely responsible for content you upload, publish, or transmit. You must have rights to all material you use. We may remove content that appears to violate this AUP or partner policies.

5. Security

You must keep credentials secure, apply updates where you control the application (e.g. WordPress), and notify us promptly of suspected compromise: support@wirevale.co.uk

6. Resource use

Shared hosting and email are subject to fair use. Excessive CPU, storage, bandwidth, or mail volume that degrades the platform may be throttled or suspended.

7. Investigation and enforcement

We may investigate complaints, cooperate with partners and law enforcement, and take action including warnings, content removal, suspension, or termination. Upstream providers may enforce their own AUPs independently.

9. Changes

We may update this AUP by posting a revised version on https://www.wirevale.co.uk/acceptable-use/
